Two Australian makers who originally studied industrial design are combining their interests in sustainable design to art and fashion, and the results are already a huge hit.
Maja Bartlett and Tess Lloyd met whilst studying at the University of Sydney, and since starting the Polli brand have used a combination of industrial design techniques with such varied styles as Japanese and Danish paper folding.
Work is produced in mini mass production using materials such as Stainless Steel, allowing for great experimentation with versatile designs and amazingly affordable pieces.
