Originally from France, the talented Magali Dincher moved in Western Australia in 2008 and has set up a studio where she creates her unique art pieces, as well as a range of homewares. She is already a multiple award winner for her works, and has exhibited extensively across her adopted homeland.
Magali is a self-taught artist who enjoys working with techniques such as lino-cut printing and collagraphs - a process similar to lino-cuts but which uses engraved cardboard to make an imprint. As a result of these methods, most of Magali's work is a guaranteed one-off original.
We love her sparing use of colour, her deceptively simple designs, and the tactile nature of each print (although we'd much rather look than touch!). We're sure you'll find something you love in this collection as well, and then be sure to visit our Textiles category to see her homewares selection - Beau est Mien.
