Simone-Clare Hede first got into the Arts through working in theatre, prop-making and scenic art. To improve and grow her skills at painting, drawing and sculpting she enrolled in the Adelaide School of Arts and in 2008 completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts & Applied Design, Majoring in Ceramics.

With her artistic practice divided into two areas, Simone-Clare is able to create jewellery pieces for her label Lady Monicle that are fun, sweet and affordable, while also creating exhibition works that have appeared in South Australia and Victoria.

The Lady Monicle range combines kitsch and pop-art influenced imagery with eye-catching silhouettes, and is rapidly growing a following around Australia. With the help of moose, we expect that soon the dear Lady will be marching across the rest of the world as well!
