Talented Tasmanian-based artist and all-round creative dynamo Sarah McNeil has a fascination with nature and science that she transfers into her gorgeous bird brooches - entirely made from card.

She has been creating her jewellery for about four years, and is inspired by the idea of producing work that won't last forever - she has chosen the strong, yet biodegradable card over plastics with the environment in mind.

Each piece has a truly handmade touch and comes with a metal pin lock on the back, so you can transfer your avian friends with your outfits.
