A love of America in the 1800s, as well as a love of all things Victoriana, are what spurred former archeologist Bernadette Miels into creating her label DandyLyonn.

Bernadette had previously dabbled in lino prints, painting and illustration before beginning her new label in 2008, drawing her inspiration from just about anything to push her work in a new direction.

Now she has a couple of directions, as evidenced with Dandylyonn, a label Bernadette creates for the purpose of enjoyment in her wearers. Whether its the Victorian era fascination with spectacle, or the humour and start of civilisation in the Old West, it's hard not enjoy the work springing from the mind of Dandylyonn.
